
Cancellation with request for a refund prior to Part 2A is subject to a $100 cancellation fee unless the registrant chooses to attend another Part 2A course that may be offered. Cancelling with less than 15 days notice will result in loss of 50 percent of the course fee. Failure to attend Part 2B will result in no refund of the course fee. Fascial Manipulation Workshops reserves the right to cancel at any time and will issue a full refund.
Clothing Requirement for Trainings
Shorts and a T-shirt for men; shorts and sports bra for women since much of the training is hands-on practice.
Warren Hammer DC, MS, DABCO has been in practice in Norwalk, Connecticut for the past 50
years. He has studied numerous soft-tissue methods and applies them to the practice of chiropractic. He has lectured nationally and internationally and recently completed his third edition of Functional Soft-Tissue Examination and Treatment by Manual Methods available from Jones & Bartlett publishers.
He writes a regular column for Dynamic Chiropractic and has written articles for prominent journals such as Chiropractic Sports Medicine, the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, Chiropractic Technique and the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies. Dr. Hammer has been a consultant and instructor for Graston Technique® since 2001. Dr. Hammer introduced Fascial Manipulation to the U.S. in 2011.
Antonio Stecco, MD is a world-class authority on soft tissue, and especially the fascial system. Following
the techniques developed by his father, Luigi Stecco, PT, Dr. Stecco collaborated with his sister, Carla Stecco, MD and authored Fascial Manipulation for Musculoskeletal Pain (Piccin, 2004). It attracted worldwide attention from myofascial therapists to bodywork instructors. The authors based their model of therapeutic technique on thousands of hours of anatomical cadaver research.
Dr. Stecco is also the author of 10 articles in journals, all relating to the category of disciplinary scientific sector MED/34, five abstracts presented at national conferences, 12 abstracts presented at international conferences, including one Best Poster Award, and three chapters in English text.
